I started building a new piece of software to help manage this campaign and volunteers who want to help us canvass and raise money.

It is also my next game project! They are one and the same, let me explain…

What do you get when a Staff AI/ML Software Engineer and Professional Game Designer decides to run for office? Well, you get a game, of course. :) I want to motivate people to help me. Why hasn’t anyone ever made this process actually fun for volunteers? Have you ever felt excited about helping a political campaign because it was fun? Think about it.

Things are so dreary and messed up in the world. We are fighting a fight against genocide and the murder of children and the oppression of victimized and vulnerable populations everywhere because we are commanded to love our neighbors. But with things being so serious, and with the endless drugery and the constant doom we read every day, don’t we deserve to have a little fun in our fight?

So I will ask you this: Do you wanna play a game?

I have many more exciting announcements in the coming weeks.

I will be making a series of videos about this project, how to sign up to volunteer and canvass for the campaign and why it matters. I will also go over my specific uses of AI, how that interplays with the ethics of AI use in my opinon, and how I am building the software I am building. So keep an eye out for that.

Lastly, I apologize for the Shaggy appearance. I’ve been working 18 hour days 6 days a week, and then my Barber got sick but I promise you I will come back looking a lot cleaner next week. Don’t worry. Unlike John Fetterman, I am not a schlub, I just have character and have been very, very busy fighting for this campaign.

The Official Campaign Logo #

Thank you all for your feedback on the logo. Based on your input I’ve decided to make the logo with the core things I support on it, the primary logo for the campaign, but to also keep around the simplified version as well. I think both logos will serve the campaign well under different contexts.
